Resolving Immigration ProblemsIn An Honest & Responsible Manner

Immigration programs for investors

California and the rest of the United States routinely attract the attention of investors from around the world. Its status as a world superpower allows citizens and residents to enjoy a solid economy and a favorable political environment.

Foreign investors who would like to spend time or live in America may be able to find an employment immigration program that makes their dream a reality.

Many immigrants are happy with how fast they were able to enter the country with an E-2 visa. This visa allows immigrants to reside in America to work for their own companies. It is common for immigrants to invest $100,000 or more to secure an E-2 visa. However, this amount is lower for some industries.

The EB-5 direct investment visa is available to investors with a considerable amount of money at their disposal. The qualifications for this visa program include a $1 million investment in a company that employs 10 or more workers. The visa recipient must also take an active role in the business.

An EB-5 regional center investment requires a half-million-dollar investment. Immigrants also bear no responsibility for direct involvement in the centers they sponsor. The regional centers that are part of this program are government approved and enjoy a good return on investment.

Inter-corporate transferee visas are available to immigrants who work for a company that expands to the United States. The requirements include a transfer to the same position within the company that a person held in his or her home country and a work history of at least a year at the company.

United States immigration policy includes a comprehensive process that is subject to change without much warning. Individuals with questions regarding their immigration status or who are unsure about a step in the process may solve their problem by securing the services of an employment immigration attorney.
